GENERAL POINTS
  • You must be at least 18 or over to benefit from Allondres' services.
  • The minimum duration of your stay if you need the reservation of accommodation is 3 months (which reflects the minimum terms of the contracts with the landlords).
  • Your personal  information will only be used for the purpose of providing the services you have booked. They will therefore be passed on to landlords &/or other people involved in your stay. They will not be passed on to anybody else.
  • Allondres will help you with your job search thanks to the different services made available to you and depending on the ones you choose to book if any. But Allondres  cannot guarantee that you will be able to find a suitable placement/job as it is down to each individual and down to your ability to adapt and pass interviews (which are not guaranteed either).
  • You are responsible for obtaining your own interviews.
  • For my clients who booked the "Greeting" please make sure that you can carry your suitcases yourself as I cannot carry them under any circumstances. If you cannot carry your own suitcases you will be required to take a taxi at your own cost.
  • Allondres  advises you to get the European Health Insurance Card which replaces the E111. Enquire about the procedures to follow to get health treatment. You can start by checking Caplondon.com (http://caplondon.com/site/expatriation/sante.html).
  • Allondres reserves the right to change the details in this website and the terms and conditions at any time.
  • Allondres will take all reasonable steps to make  your relocation easier but will not be liable for any claims, costs, expenses or losses (whether indirect or consequential) suffered by you as a result of the performance or the non performance of this contract, save for death or personal injury caused by Allondres' negligence.
  • Allondres is not available 24/7. The business times are between 9am and 5pm only (English time). Always leave a voice mail or a text to identify yourself when your call cannot ne taken. The opening days are available to view on the following link : http://allondres.com/dispos.html
  • Our contract is governed by English laws and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  • The English version shall prevail over the French version in our documentation.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS
  • You accept that the information you give on your registration form is correct and not falsified.
  • You will only send your payment after you have checked the following as failure to do so will only slow the process down :

         *the availability of your required arrival date.
         *the availability of your chosen services.
         *the exact amount to be made payable

  • If you require accommodation, all payments have to reach Allondres at least 2 weeks before your due arrival date except where special authorisation has been given. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your registration. Be careful as bank transfers can take up to a week, therefore register early.
  • If you do not require accommodation, all payments have to reach Allondres no later than 1 week before your due arrival date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your registration. Be careful as bank transfers can take up to a week, therefore register early.
  • When your registration is being processed you will get :

         *confirmation that your booking form has been received.
         *an invoice showing the breakdown and the final amount to be paid.

  • When your booking is confirmed please read, print the Terms and Conditions pages on the website, both the French version and the English version, write your name and surname and sign at the bottom of each page. Please also photocopy each side of your ID Card or the main page of your passport. Send everything to the address of Allondres given under Contact.
  • When all documents and payments have been received on time you will get  a confirmation by e-mail.
  • Allondres will get back to you by e-mail, telephone or post as promptly as possible to answer any queries you may have.
  • The only means of payment accepted is by Bank Transfer in Sterling Pounds on Business Account.
  • Please note that all payments have to be made in sterling pounds at least 4 weeks before your arrival day if you need accommodation or 2 weeks in advance if you do not need accommodation. Please take into account the fact that bank transfers take about 5 days. I advise you to pay everything in one go as your bank will charge you a transfer fee. You are responsible for paying these fees : any bank transfer that does not arrive into the business account as the correct amount will incur a £20 penalty charge whatever the amount received (if you do not advise your banker, the fee will be deducted from the amount sent).
  • The deposit varies according to the property and is normaly equivalent to 1 month rent. I therefore ask you to add £400 to the payment owed to Allondres. This £400 will be given to the landlord to reserve the accommodation and will be deducted from the deposit you owe him. For example:
    • If the deposit is £450 and the first month rent £500, £50 from the deposit will remain to be paid on arrival as well as £500 for the first month.
    • If the deposit is £300 and the first month rent £375, the deposit will have been paid in full which only leaves you with £275 to pay on arrival.
  • On your arrival day, you will need to pay the 1st month rent directly to your landlord. Please have everything ready to do so.

 

ACCOMODATION
  • The accomodation are all flatshares.
  • Allondres will visit the rooms before any placement but cannot be held responsible for the state and condition of the premises (flatmates who didn't do the dishes or clean for example) or the Health and Safety measures in place.
  • Allondres will not be held responsible should the accommodation not be to your taste as taste is subjective to each individual (interior decoration, flatmates or number of rooms for example). Flatshares in London do not always have a living room especially in zone 2.
  • Twin rooms are very popular and are therefore not always available. Please note that even if you are 2 friends, your room could be a room with a double bed.
  • Allondres will not be responsible for any other tenants who live in the property and the way they behave.
  • The number of flatmates depends on the property and may vary from 3 to 10 people.
  • The landlord can replace any tenant with another one from any nationality.
  • Please note that the standard of the rooms in London is not always equivalent to French standards.
  • The duration of the contracts is normally 3, 6 or 12 months depending on the landlord. You will be required to sign a contract with the landlord on arrival. Keep a copy for reference. The contract is between you and the landlord and must be read with attention. Allondres cannot intervene or influence the landlord in any way. Please ask your landlord the notice period you have to give before leaving the accommodation. If you leave before the end of the contract or if you do not give enough notice you may lose your deposit unless you can find a replacement.
  • Allondres does not deal with and cannot intervene in matters involving deposit recovery. It is your duty and responsibility to get your deposit back from the landlord / property manager.
  • If you do not adhere to the contract you risk eviction.
  • Allondres will take your preferences into account but they cannot be guaranteed as it will depend on availibilities.
  • Allondres cannot guarantee that all persons travelling together will be placed in the same accommodation as it will depend on availabilities at the time of your arrival.
  • The zone cannot be guaranteed but will be zone 2 or 3.
  • The area cannot be guaranteed.
  • Should you at any time during your stay wish to change accommodation it is your responsibility so you cannot involve Allondres. Once more you need to check the notice period you have to give.
  • If you have any problem with the accommodation you can ask Allondres for advice but it is up to the landlord to resolve the problem so you should contact him. Allondres cannot influence his decisions in any way.
  • Your address and any other information will be given to you 1 to 2 weeks before your arrival.
  • Do not forget to bring a duvet or thick cover and linen as well as towels as these are not normally provided for hygiene reasons. (the size of the bed will be given to you nearer the time of your arrival).
  • Please do not arrive at your accommodation after 6PM.
  • Pets are not allowed in any accommodation.
  • Should you cause any damage to the property you will be required to pay for any expenditure which result from these damages.
  • You agree to remain honest and decent towards your landlord.
  • Allondres is not responsible for any theft to your belongings in the accommodation or anywhere else. It is down to you to take the necessary precautions.
  • You will have to adhere to the contract you sign with the landlord on arrival and make all due payments to him.
  • Finding you accommodation will depend on the following :

         * your personal requirements and how strict they are.
         * the time of year you are coming and the letting market.
         * the documents you have provided.

  • If for the above reasons or any other reasons it becomes impossible to book an accommodation for your chosen date we will discuss alternatives. But if we are unable to find you an alternative we will only be liable to provide a refund.
CANCELLATION, REFUNDS AND CHANGE OF DATE
  • The administration fee is non refundable from the moment the booking is made and payment has been made to Allondres.
  • As soon as you receive your invoice, the bank transfer must be made within 4 weeks in order to book the necessary dates. If you are arriving within the next 3 or 4 weeks then the bank transfer must be done immediatly. Bookings will be cancelled if the payments are not received within the correct time frame.
  • If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your booking, part refunds will be given if we are notified in writing 4 weeks before your due arrival date. Subject to the point above, the administration fee is non refundable and Allondres reserves the right to deduct any reasonable costs already incurred in relation to your booking. The deposit for the accommodation will only be refunded if the accommodation was not already reserved.
  • In case of a cancellation that does not get to Allondres at least 4 weeks before your initial due arrival date, any payment you have given will be forfeited. The deposit for the accommodation will only be refunded if the accommodation was not already reserved.
  • If you want to change your arrival date you must notify Allondres  at least 5 weeks before your original arrival date. You will need to double check availability again and choose an alternative.

      DATA PROTECTION ACT: You accept by this contract that your personal data are going to be transmitted to landlords &/or any other person involved in your stay in order to fulfil the services you have chosen. Your personal data will not be passed to anybody else before your agreement is given and written authorisation is received.
